Training Coordinator
The Objective of the program is to reduce the prevalence of disabilities and mitigate the effect of impairments by increasing community awareness, strengthening maternal and newborn care and providing comprehensive early intervention services.
Job Summary:
Based in Nairobi, the incumbent will provide coordination and technical assistance and organize trainings, meetings and workshops in liaison with the APDK national Branch Coordinators and government staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop appropriate training materials for various target groups
* Identifying training needs and source/research for appropriate materials
* Coordinate national and branch trainings, workshops and/or meetings.
* Manage training budgets and ensure proper accounting
* Supervision at the various trainings and provide assistance in ToT facilitation
* Collecting data on trainings and write reports
* Liaise with MOMS and other Health Training Institutions on development of training
* Assist the management team in other assignments as required
Qualifications
* Basic Degree on Health related field or Social Services
* Higher diploma in Health/Medical Education will be an added advantage
* 2 years experience in conducting trainings for health workers/communities
* Knowledgeable on government training standards for health workers
* Computer literate, a elf motivated team player and resourceful
