To ensure correct supply chain management inclusive of movement and storage of raw materials, work in process inventory and finished products from point of origin to point of consumption and ensure compliance with the relevant procurement laws.


Job Profile
    * Develop and manage materials planning function for goods and materials needed.
   *  Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning and forecasting.
   *  Monitor and produce reliable statistics and market analysis of price trends to improve the purchasing   planning and budgeting process.
    * Advise accordingly in relation to procurement practice and the act among other duties.
    * Ensure the preparation of procurement plans and compliance with the PPOA is achieved.

Person Profile

    * Bachelors degree preferably in Social Sciences or its equivalent preferably with a bias in Supplies Management or Procurement.
    * Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management from a recognized institution.
    * Must be well conversant with the Public Procurement and Disposal procedures in line with the Public Procurement Act, other local and international procurement procedures and regulations.
    * At least five years experience in a busy organization.
    * Age — above 35 years.
    * Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management.
    * MBA is an added advantage.
