Job Overview

This is a senior level position responsible for planning, executing and supervising all aspects of engineering projects in accordance to strict deadlines and within budget.

Accountabilities

Required:

    * Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
    * Provide Technical leadership in all project scope areas
    * Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
    * Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
    * Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
    * Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
    * Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
    * Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
    * Conduct project post mortems and prepare recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
    * Manage project team, risk, schedule and materials

Education and Working Experience Requirements

    * A university Degree in Engineering
    * A diploma /post graduate qualification in Project Management
    * Technical experience of 8-10 years in Water Engineering and Construction works
    * Experience in Project Management at Senior level of more than 5 years
    * Good working knowledge of Ms office
    * Have a Valid Driving License
